Welcome to The Sequel BookBouquet Store! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

At The Sequel BookBouquet, we take pride in providing high-quality flowers, gifts and services to our customers. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This policy outlines our procedures so please read it carefully before making a purchase. 

1. About Us

The Sequel BookBouquet Store is an online-only boutique offering unique floral bouquets paired with romance novels. Each arrangement is carefully & individually curated, blending fresh seasonal blooms with paperback stories to swoon over.

2. Eligibility

To place an order, you must be living in Australia and at least 16 years of age. By using our website, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Orders & Availability

We offer local delivery and pick-up from our residential location. At this time, postal shipping is not available.

All items are subject to availability:

  • Books: Customer requests for specific titles or genres are welcome, but we cannot guarantee specific books due to stock limitations.

  • Flowers: All bouquets are made with seasonal flowers, and varieties may differ based on availability. Requests will be considered with advance notice, but cannot be guaranteed.

4. Payments

Payments are accepted online via PayPal only. Your order is confirmed once full payment has been received.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the perishable nature of flowers and the custom pairing of items, all sales are final within 48hrs of delivery or pickup.  If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pick-up date for a refund. If within 48hrs, we will hold the payment for 6months to reuse at an alternate time.  Please review your order carefully before confirming.

6. Deliveries & Pick-Up

We offer:

  • Local delivery to eligible areas: Scarborough  to Berry NSW

  • Pick-up from our residential address in 2527 (details provided upon checkout)

Delivery dates and times will be confirmed via email or SMS. Please ensure someone is available to receive the bouquet, as we cannot be responsible for missed deliveries. Delivery may not be available every day - see calendar when making your booking. . 

7. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy.
Customer data (e.g., name, contact info, order details) is securely stored via Square. We do not store payment information ourselves.

You may receive a monthly email from us with special offers, discounts, or new product announcements. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email.

8. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party platforms to operate our store and process payments:

  • Square (website and ordering platform)

  • PayPal (payment processor)

By using our store, you agree to their terms and privacy policies as well.

9. Disclaimer

All items are handmade and curated with care, but due to the nature of our products:

  • We kindly request that the flowers be appropriately cared for upon delivery (including cutting the stems, regularly replenishing water and adding flower food when necessary, storing them in a cool location away from direct sunlight or air conditioning).

  • All books included in our bouquets are securely wrapped in clear cellophane or similar protective material to maintain their condition and safeguard them from moisture or floral residue during assembly and delivery.

  • Each book is presented as part of your bouquet, securely attached to a wooden “stem” or stake so it appears as one of the flowers. These stems are made from natural materials We encourage customers to remove these safely & dispose of or reuse them in an environmentally friendly way.

  • Minor variations in flower types, colour, and arrangement are expected.

  • Book selection is based on availability and theme, and may differ from photos shown on the website.

  • While requests are considered, they are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our services, you accept any changes.
